Poetry for Children ~ at home
Welcome back! This week we are going back to the beginning and picking out some of our favourite poems of the last few weeks. I shall do this again next week, as I think we only come to love poems as our familiarity with them grows – obviously we have to chose which ones to become familiar with! All I’ve done here is to choose the ones the children enjoyed the most!
So – dive in!

Yes! I love the lines about sitting in the moon with a
“ball of fading light
and silvery needles
knitting the night”

Thank you Abbie – the Billy poem is such good fun, isn’t it! And I loved it when we were all acting out the different parts – so noisily! Gr’Anna x
