making yogurt
a new lockdown skill
We all know it’s been a stange year ~ full of sadness, anxiety, loss …
But it’s also, for some of us, been an opportunity to learn new skills. I now know that I can cut hair (quite decently), cook (quite creatively) and sew (quite competently). One of my new cooking skills is making yogurt ~ which gives an entirely disproportionate amount of pleasure for the very little effort needed. I use the Lakeland yogurt maker and it couldn’t be easier.
1 carton organic, whole, UHT milk + 2 tablespoons live yogurt into the pot. Stir. Switch on. Set my alarm for 8 hours later. Result? Absolutely delicious yogurt every time!
