daffodils

a life-long love

I particulary love this reading by Clare Shaw ~ she makes it so fresh and new!

I’ve loved Wordsworth’s timeless classic since I learned it by heart (as so many of us did) at primary school. Imagine my joy now that my grand-children are learning it! We recite it on walks, helping each other out as they forget the more unusual words (they’re at primary school, too)

and each week at Zoom Poetry Club we read it and share it while on our theme of ‘Spring’.

The Zoom Poetry Club started with the first lockdown and has gone through the year with us ~ it shows no sign of stopping!
