with Clare Johnson
Start the Week is a 45 minute zoom session on a Monday morning at 9am. It is a gentle series of exercises and techniques led by Clare Johnson, with the intention to help us to feel more centred, grounded and calm.
Clare is an experienced massage therapist and yoga teacher and brings all of her care and love to the sessions. You just need a kitchen chair to sit on, a quiet room, and no interruptions. Everything Clare offers comes with an invitation to trust your own inner wisdom and to listen to your body. This is ‘gentle is as gentle does’.
I’ve been doing Start the Week with Clare since she began and wouldn’t miss it for anything! Afterwards I feel calm but energised, and as though all of my ‘body, breath and being’ (to use a favourite phrase of Clare’s) has been loved, given space and now feels precious again.
