slightly foxed

a new Literary Group on Facebook

Many years ago, and in what now feels like ‘another lifetime’ Slightly Foxed came to Much Wenlock courtesy of the bookshop and gave one of the best literary events we’ve ever had!

Imagine my delight when I learned about the new literary group on Facebook!

Slightly Foxed publishes exquisite journals and beautiful books.

The new group is the brainchild of Caroline Roseman, she says

The group is for people to talk about anything related to Slightly Foxed and beyond. We can discuss their books or their wonderful quarterly magazines, or their fascinating podcasts. We can also talk about any other books or poetry that take our fancy. The idea is simply to have a friendly and chatty forum to talk about what we all love. There are no rules,(except of course to be polite) the page develops as we the members want it to. So please do look it up, and join in with anything you feel like posting. You will be very welcome.

The first book they are reading together, in the most relaxed and unpressured way, is As I Walked Out One Midsummer Morning by Laurie Lee. I hadn’t ever read it, so ordered my copy from the library. I started reading it early this morning and I am loving it! (More to come!)
