     Shriek of the Week

When I was poorly in 2017 I spent a lot of time in bed, not even able to read. Luckily for me, my bedroom window opens onto our garden, a brook, and a woodland, and I became very familiar with the garden birds singing for all they were worth from dawn to dusk.  In particular I became fascinated by the Chiffchaff and came to love its funny little song.

Hilary has just introduced me to Shriek of the Week where you can easily find and listen to lots of gorgeous bird song.
